Bizarre Cinema im April

Winter is not over yet. Thank God. Cinema Bizarre makes the first time in April full program. Snakes, mercenaries, sadists, Satanists and Sicilian sociopaths looking for in next month's home, the canvas of the B-Movie , as always presented by hand-picked specialists of obscure film. In May, then switched from weekly to monthly late Sunday afternoon performances ideas - silly season goodbye! There will be double features on specific topics and also the one or other guest, the plans are in full swing. Everything else here soon.

Sunday 4 April, 15.30 Clock: Stanley
USA 1972, 91 min, 35 mm, DF, directed by William Grefe, Starring: Chris Robinson, Alex Rocco
The half-Indian and Vietnam veteran Tim lives quietly with his snakes in the swampy Everglades. When Stanley got his favorites, and Hazel Young, family life seems perfect. Were it not for those people to enter the all respect him and his surrogate family obligations with the feet. In the maelstrom of snake abuse and homophobia is so much fanciful folly developed, that usually only a short time remains to choose between speechlessness, head shaking and laughter. Mental Horror hardly can be liberating animals.

Sunday 11 April, 15.30 Clock: mercenaries have no mercy ( Dangerous Encounter - 1st Kind )
Hong Kong 1980, 86 min, 35 mm, DF, Director: Tsui Hark Starring: Lo Lieh, Lin Chen-Chi, Albert Au , Bruce Baron, Tsui Hark Tsui Hark's nihilistic
third part of the "Trilogy of chaos" caused a shock with the public - the grotesque shocker was banned after its premiere in Hong Kong now! We have him back retrieved from the archives. Teenager Paul and two school friends go on a joyride in his father's secret car a pedestrian to death. A girl, the term "psychopath" is redefined, eye witness of the accident and blackmails the boys to take part in a robbery. True, it is dicey, as the quartet accidentally drops a suitcase full of money laundering checks in their hands. Now they are of triads and American weapon dealers hunted to the death - and MERCENARY KNOW NO MERCY (Ger. title)! The hysterical vision of an urban jungle, full of violence, the memories of A Clockwork Orange and awakens in a showdown à la Sam Peckinpah escalates. Note: This masterpiece of Hong Kong New Wave Cinema is not for the faint hearted!

Sunday 18 April, 15.30 Clock: The sadists of Satan (Satan's Sadists )
USA 1969, 88 min, 35 mm, DF, directed by Al Adamson Starring: Russ Tamblyn, Regina Carrol, Gary Kent, Jackie Taylor
already the title is so priceless, and the advertising placed on it in 1969 still a "human garbage - in the sickest love parties," and then "Motorcycle Maniacs," "Fantastic Fights" and Regina Carrol as "The Freak-Out Girl" promise. Whatever the case: Russ Tamblyn, the riff from West Side Story , plays a mad biker, buzzing with his gang, murdering and raping by the southwestern United States. Unsuspecting college girls to do LSD in the coffee - that is not nice. But a Vietnam veteran, shows the evil-doers, what he has learned in the war. Al Adamson - Cinema Bizarre in the already with The Female Bunch was represented - directed. Whether that is a promise?

Sunday 25 April, 15.30 Clock: The devil is directing
Italy 1973, 95 min, 35 mm, DF, directed by Fernando Di Leo Starring: Henry Silva, Richard Conte, Gianni Garko
The devil is directing is not only the motto of Bizarre Cinema series, but also a prime example of the Italian Poliziotti film of the 70s. Director Fernando Di Leo has been fired in this work a tough shell that not only Quentin Tarantino has deeply impressed. Lanzetta hitman triggers the execution of some mobsters in a porn cinema in Palermo a spiral of violence, where all registers unrestrained Italo-action be taken.
